2013 Ambassador Chair
Amanda Green (LA '12) is an aspiring social entrepreneur from the LA’12 class of StartingBloc. She currently works as a Special Projects Analyst at Blue Garnet, a social change consulting firm that helps organizations transform from good to truly exceptional. She enjoys participating in professional development and socially motivated organizations, such as the Riordan Leadership Institute, the National Society for Hispanic MBAs and the CSULB CBA Alumni & Friends. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach, in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minor in Business Administration. In her personal life, she enjoys spending time with her loved ones and likes to exercise, read, bake and participate in outdoor and artistic activities. Amanda’s greatest passion is helping others and she hopes to one day make a great impact on the world. She looks forward to recruiting exciting new candidates to the StartingBloc tribe.

Taylor Jo Isenberg (LA '12), a Startingbloc Fellow of the famed LA ’12 Institute, is currently the National Director of the Roosevelt Institute | Campus Network and based out of New York City. Prior to her current position with Roosevelt, Taylor Jo served as the Deputy Director in the organization, which is dedicated to building the next generation of progressive leaders while redefining the way young people engage in the political process today. Previously, she worked for the Partnership for a Secure America as a Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellow and Carolina for Kibera.
Taylor Jo graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in International Studies and Peace, War, and Defense. A Tar Heel, she finds happiness in the kind of conversations that shift the way she sees the world - they tend to occur over a glass of Sweet Tea.
