StartingBloc is an active member of the social impact community, with partners in the private and public sectors. Our partnerships and collaborations stand to enhance each of our unique contributions to the world.

How can you get involved?

Become a scrimmage partner.

A key component of the StartingBloc Institute is the “Rapid Prototyping Scrimmage,” an intensive half-day in which a team of Fellows rapidly prototype solutions to challenges or opportunities that local social enterprises, nonprofits, and other mission-driven organizations are facing. The Scrimmage is intended to not only be useful (and free) for partner organizations, but also serve as an active learning environment for Fellows as they dive into rapid prototyping, human-centered design, and related social innovation techniques. The Scrimmage is held on Day 3 of the 5-day StartingBloc Institute.

Become a pipeline partner.

Our pipeline partnership is a cross-promotional and engaged collaboration in network-sharing. Our bi-weekly newsletters, online forums, and social media presences are great venues for sharing the updates and announcements of our partners. We also rely on our partners to help us spread the word about upcoming Institutes and deadlines, as well as to nominate future Fellows for selection to the Fellowship.

Sponsor StartingBloc.

StartingBloc sponsors access the Fellowship and wider community to foster collaboration with new ventures and organizations, to increase brand awareness, and to recruit from a diverse, talented, and well-respected community. Audiences at StartingBloc’s Institutes are a combination of some Fellows coming in with stable and creative social companies, while others are at a point of real transition in life. It is this mix that makes StartingBloc the right place to connect with leaders in the social innovation market.
