“StartingBloc gave me the opportunity to see a future world that I hope might exist, but now I know will exist. This world is filled with cross-sector collaborations, and people that see the benefit of connecting global communities. A world where non-profit and corporate executives share their knowledge and understanding. This was so powerful to me.” —Syreeta Gates, NY '08

Graduate school. You’ve thought about. You’ve read about the value, the process, the time commitment. Maybe you’ve talked to friends who have a degree; maybe you’ve even spent time with current students and alumni. But have you heard about the nitty gritty from the people who make the final decisions, the naysayers, the gatekeepers? Well, here’s your chance. We’ve gathered a diverse group of graduate school admissions directors from top tiered programs with a strong focus on social innovation and enterprise to answer your most pressing questions, and teach you everything you didn’t know you needed to know.

Sparkseed + StartingBloc Mixer

This is a mixer with a twist! Here's how it works: Both organizations invite their community to join us for cocktails at UC Lounge. Attendees pay $5 at the door, and their $5 goes towards the organization they mention upon arriving (Sparkseed or StartingBloc). Volunteer bartenders pool their tips into a large donation, which will go towards supporting both hosting organizations.

Oh wait, that's not all - we will have speed mentoring from 8 - 9 PM followed by a DJ who will spin some tunes for us to break out onto the dance floor! All this and more being organized by the awesome folks at Prime Produce.
